M. Lapierre, Morgon 2022
Beaujolais gets no better than Lapierre. Largely responsible for both Beaujolais and natural wine breaking into the mainstream, Lapierre epitomizes the savory side of gamay. That’s on full display in this new release of their flagship bottling from Morgon, an appellation responsible for the most structured, ‘serious’ wines in Beaujolais. While it’s deep and earthy, it’s still bright and peppery, an ideal chilled red.

Terrevive, Lambrusco Rosato 'San Vincent'
On his vineyard outside Modena in Emilia-Romagna, Gianluca Bergianti farms biodynamically and uses uncommon, old-school techniques to make this dry sparkling rosé. Rather than syrupy and cloying like a lot of Lambrusco out there, ‘San Vincent’ is bright, savory, and highly versatile with food.

Benanti, Etna Bianco 2022
Originally responsible for showing the world that Etna could produce world-class wines, Benanti farms a local grape called Carricante on the slopes of Sicily’s highly active, seaside volcano. Mount Etna’s unique growing conditions, coupled with Benanti’s old vines and meticulous farming, yield this perfectly crisp, mineral-driven wine. This should be your go-to end of summer white.
